We had a strong recommendation to visit Fulton’s, known for their stellar seafood, at 205 East 75th St in NYC.

The restaurant is around the corner from Citarella’s and owned by Helen Gurrera, a member of the Citarella family. If you are familiar with the Citarella stores or family, you know they know proteins; from Thanksgiving turkeys to the freshest seafood.

We met some friends in from Hoboken, NJ for drinks and a meal. As you can tell from the interior shot, we did not steer them wrong. The staff was great and Helen herself welcomed us. We had some drinks and scoured the menu. The appetizers were enticing but the entrees not so much. We did a little broken field running and switched to an all drinks and all appetizers meal.

Calamari, more fabulous calamari, plates of fresh oysters and more calamari and we four were happy and done.
