Bantam Chickens are smaller Chicken breeds or smaller versions of conventional breeds. They were originally bred for their aggressive natures, to excel at cock fighting.

Varieties

Bantam Chickens include: Booted Bantam, Belgian Mille Fleur, Belgian d’Anver, Belgian d’Uccle, Japanese, Sebright, and the Silkie.

Culinary Uses

Bantam Chickens are not often used as Egg Layers or Meat Producers.
