Sodium

Sodium is one of the main electrolytes responsible for maintaining the fluid balance in the body and assisting in muscle contraction. Potassium

Fluid and electrolyte balance, muscle contraction, and nerve impulse transmission are the major roles of potassium in the body. Recommended AI intakes of 4,700 mg/per day can be obtained from all whole food such as meats, fruits, grains, vegetables, and milk.
