Frisée is perhaps best known as part of the name of a popular Parisian salad, “Frisée aux Lardons,” a salad of Chicory lettuce and Sautéed Lardons tossed with a warmed Vinaigrette (the Vinaigrette often contains a small amount of cooked chopped Chicken Liver), and topped with a Poached Egg.
