Frozen Chicken means Chicken that has been Frozen, kept at or below 0°F (-18°C), in all of its forms.

Frozen chicken should be Thawed in its original wrapper in the refrigerator.  Refrigerated, Chickens may take a day or two to thaw completely. If you’re in a hurry, Frozen Chicken can be thawed in cold running water. This method is described in Smart Kitchen's Exercise on Purchasing and Storing Chicken.

Frozen Poultry can be kept frozen almost indefinitely, though they will start to dry out and the taste will suffer if kept frozen too long. Finally, never re-freeze previously thawed, frozen poultry.
