Garlic Juice is the product of pressing or squeezing fresh Garlic Cloves. It is exactly analogous to Orange Juice coming from Oranges, except that it is Garlic Juice being squeezed from Garlic Cloves.

Garlic Juice is a food product and as such does not have a season.

Garlic Juice is available all year long but more often as a supplement in Natural Food Stores.

To make your own Garlic Juice, get the juice out of the Garlic Cloves. Squeeze them, process them in a Food Processor or an Electric Blender. Strain out the solids and retain the Garlic Juice.

Other derivative products such as Garlic Extract can be made from Garlic Juice.

Culinary Uses

You can also make your own Garlic Juice. Smart Kitchen’s Recipe for Garlic Juice can show you how.

Portion Size

Allow 1-2 t of Garlic Juice per person.

Garlic, Garlic Extract

Fresh Garlic Juice has all of the health benefits of raw fresh Garlic, including Vitamin B6, Selenium, Manganese, Vitamin C, Calcium, Phosphorous, Iron, Copper, Protein, and Potassium. The Garlic Juice also contains the phytochemical: Allicin.

The other issue is that as much as 75% of the Garlic used in commercial Garlic products comes from China where they have looser rules about pesticides and chemical additives like bleaching agents, preservatives, etc. And it is not just the Garlic Juice sold in a jar. Check the labels on any of your packaged foods or ready to eat foods. How many of them contain Garlic Juice?
