Glass Storageware can range from Mason Jars to kitchen glasses to specifically designed commercial kitchen containers or bowls.

The benefits of Glass Storageware are that glass is inert (it does not react chemically with food or ingredients), transparent (or opaque), strong (though brittle) and even untreated glass is able to withstand various temperatures.

The three most glaring drawbacks of glass for storage are that it can be fragile, that glass can be slippery and it can be heavy.

Various companies offer Glass Storageware. We have found the Pyrex Brand (link goes to the Pyrex Website) to be of good quality and to be versatile because of how the products are heat treated.
