Dry Measuring Spoons

Even though you have your little coffee spoon, measuring spoons, which are commercially scaled, are very beneficial. Typically, measuring spoons are available in teaspoon and tablespoon sizes, as well as fractions of each. Most often you will see flat rimmed dry measuring spoons together on a ring ranging in size from ⅛ teaspoon to 1 tablespoon. You can also find some more niche sets that measure such things as, "Pinches" or "Dashes".

Dry Measuring Cups

Typically, dry measuring cups come in a “nested” (graduated) bundle all stacked inside one another. Graduated measuring cups are made in ¼ cup, ⅓ cup, ½ cup, 1 cup, and 2-cup sizes. It's possible to find other niche measuring cups that measure smaller amounts, like ⅛ of a cup and smaller increments like ⅔ of a cup.
