Your Stove top burners can be used to keep foods warm, essentially Holding foods above their Melt points and The Food Danger Zone but cool enough so that no further cooking takes place.

To achieve a Warming Heat of approximately 140° F (60°C) up to 200° F (93°C) just put your burner on as low a flame as you can achieve without the flame sputtering out.
